Ennis Councillors have said they're disappointed with the amount of money allocated for projects in the town next year.
Local representatives in the Ennis Municipal District voted to accept a discretionary fund of 54 thousand euro in their first budget meeting of this kind since the reform of local government.

Their allocation now needs to be approved by the wider County Council, and it's not known what the money would be spent on.
Independent Councillor James Breen feels the area should have been given more.
