Homes and businesses on the Limerick road in Ennis may experience disruption to water supply today as essential improvement works continue.
Clare County Council, acting as agents for Irish Water, will be carrying out works from the Michael Lynch roundabout to the Westfields roundabout and in all adjoining estates between 9am and 6pm.
Consumers could experience loss of supply, poor pressure and discolouration.
Meanwhile, the R458 Limerick Road will remain closed between Traceys West County Hotel and Abbey Court Estate until Friday as a result of the ongoing works.
Business on this road are operating as usual and the road will be re-opened for the weekend.
