Two new anti-dog fouling measures are being hailed as successes just weeks after they were installed at two of Clare's busiest beaches.
The devices at Lahinch and Kilkee warn dog owners to clean up after their pooches when out and about.

A survey undertaken by Clare County Council recorded just under 2,500 dogs at both beaches during one week last month, and the local authority says dog litter has halved since the new units were put in place.
