The DPP is pressing ahead with appealing against the leniency of the sentences handed down to two men jailed over the unlawful death of Clare man Brian Casey.
Earlier this month 31 year old Harry Dinan of 10 Waterpark Heights Ennis was jailed for five years for the manslaughter of the Lissycasey teacher on the 26th of December 2009, while his nephew 24 year old Kevin Dinan of Clarehill Clarecastle was handed down a four year term.
Investigating gardaí at Ennis have confirmed to Clare FM that a report on the case has been submitted to the DPP and that its now proceeding with appealing the sentences handed down to the two.

Its likely to be held next year.
