But figures released by the Road Safety Authority shows Ennis has the highest pass rate in the country.
69 per cent of people who took their driving test in Ennis last year passed, giving the county town the highest pass rate in the country.
The figures have been released by the Road Safety Authority who compared results at 20 test centres around the country.
Elsewhere in Clare, the figure wasn't as high with 58 per cent of people in Kilrush being granted a full licence and 51 per cent in Shannon.
But while it was harder to gain a pass rate there, the figure has risen since 2013 when the Shannon figure was 49 per cent and 47 in Kilrush.
