Clare County Council’s income from Planning fees dropped by over 40% in 2010.
The local authority received a net income of over 466 thousand euro from planning fees in 2009, but that figure dropped to under 275 thousand last year.
The drop in income has been revealed in a report from the Head of Finance at the Council

It also reveals that falls were recorded in commercial rates and in income received from the local government fund, though income generated from non-domestic water charges and from Shannon Airport both increased in the last twelve months.
