District Court judge Heather Perrin has been convicted of deceiving a friend into bequeathing half his estate to her children.
The 60 year old former solicitor will be sentenced tomorrow week for deceptively inducing Thomas Davis while acting as executor of his will in January 2009.

During her trial Dublin Circuit Criminal Court was told the offence happened when Ms Perrin was practising as a solicitor, weeks before she was appointed as a judge.
