€22,000 worth of drugs has been seized by Revenue at Shannon Airport.
1.1 kilograms of herbal cannabis was discovered by officers in large packets of sharing crisps contained in a parcel.
It’s believed the package had originated in Spain and had been planned to end up at an address in Limerick city.

Investigations remain ongoing into the seizure, which is part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs.
