More than €345,000 is to be provided to eight Clare venues under the government’s Live Performance Support Scheme.
Sites in Feakle, Lisdoonvarna, Spanish Point, Doolin, Ennistymon, Kilkee and Lahinch have been issued funding, including over €150,000 for Hotel Doolin’s performances at the ‘Barn Hotel’.
€57,000 has been issued for the Lisdoonvarna Music Series, with €36,000 set aside for the ‘Marquee By The Sea’ event in Kilkee.

A total of 237 venues are to benefit from a share of €25 million across the country under the initiative.
