Gardaí in Clare collected over 4,000 euro in fines from people who parked or stopped in a disabled parking space last year.
3,700 people were issued fines across the country for the offence in 2019, an increase of nearly 300 on the previous year.
According to Freedom of Information figures, over half were issued in Dublin and 26 were issued here in Clare.
