Shannon Airport has received a welcome boost with the announcement of over 6 million euro in funding.
Its part of an 11 million euro funding announcement for regional airports today, by Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Hildegarde Naughton.
The 6.3 million euro in funding for Shannon has been allocated under the Covid-19 Regional State Airports Programme for this year.

While almost 4.8 million euro has been allocated to the airports of Donegal, Knock and Kerry under the Regional Airports Programme.
