Over €70,000 has been allocated to sports clubs across Clare to offset financial losses arising from the pandemic.
75 different clubs will benefit from the funding, which has been released under the Local Sports Partnership Small Grant Scheme.
The grant scheme is intended to support a return to sporting activities when it is permitted under public health guidelines.

Clare’s allocation represents nearly 4% of the overall funding, which amounts to €1.9 million spread across 1,600 clubs nationwide.
