The events surrounding the War of Independence in East Clare are set to be commemorated this weekend.
Members of the East Clare Old IRA Brigade and Cumann na mBan will be remembered tomorrow at a wreath laying ceremony in the Tuamgraney Memorial Park.
Also on Easter Sunday a commemoration will be held for the Scarriff Martyrs, four men who were shot by Auxiliaries forces on Killaloe Bridge on November 16, 1920.
