An East Clare Councillor claims there's still no coherent strategy to deal with flooding in Clare, despite the scale of the damage caused last winter.
Maghera Councillor Pat Hayes is asking Clare County Council to urgently convene an interagency task force, which would put together a long term programme of river maintenance.

He also insists the Local Authority needs to seek long term funding to carry out extensive flood prevention works.
The Council says it will consider the proposal, but Councillor Hayes says progress has been too slow.
