Gardaí have reportedly interviewed a teenage boy after a girl in East Clare was shot in the face with a pellet gun.
Reports say the incident occurred in Tulla on Friday evening, and that the pellet gun was fired from a car.

She was also a teenager, and didn't go to hospital, but was seen by a local doctor.
The incident could have been more serious as she was struck near the eye.
