It’s hoped the development of a 28 bedroom hotel in Sixmilebridge with the creation of up to 70 new jobs will provide a real economic boost for the area.
An Bord Pleanála has grant planning permission to Gerard and Martha Kearney for the demolition of an existing guesthouse and the construction of a hotel on the main street of the town.
Up to fifty jobs will be created during the development and a further 20 when the business is up and running.
