Latest figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that across the month of October, 2,235 new vehicles were sold in this county – an almost 16% decrease on the 2,659 the same month last year.
Nationally, there has been a 7% slide in the number of new cars sold in the first 10 months of the year compared to that period in 2018.
