Calls For University Of Limerick To Stop Accepting Students Amid Accommodation Controversy

There are calls for the University of Limerick to stop accepting students until it has adequate services in place.

The Students’ Union has hit out at new on-campus twin rooms which are being provided in rooms that were originally built for one person.

UL says the rooms are being introduced due to demand, and they will be up to 45 per cent cheaper than standard rooms.

The accommodation which has been described as ‘cramped’ will cost between 2,800 and 4,250 euro per person per year.
