Clare Gardaí are working with the embassies of Chile and Germany as part of their efforts to contact the families of two men killed in a crash in North Clare last evening.
The men were riding separate motorcycles which collided just outside Lisdoonvarna, on the N67 Ennistymon road while a woman, a pillion passenger on one of the bikes, was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The Chilean man was visiting Clare from abroad, but the German man had been working in the Lisdoonvarna area for a number of years, and had been living there with his partner, a woman from Clare.
