The Communications Minister has again defended the controversial Eircode system.
The system, which gives a unique postcode to every property in the country, came under fire last year when a number of addresses were displayed as being in the wrong county.

Properties in Shannon, Killaloe, and even Whitegate are listed as being in Limerick, while others in North Clare display as being in Galway.
Responding to a written question in the Dáil, Minister Alex White insists the introduction of Eircodes imposes no obligation to change the normal address of a property.
