The Director of Operations of Eircom is due in County Clare this morning to view the flood damage caused over the last two weeks.
Over 6 thousand customers have been affected by the flood damage to the company’s exchange over the last number of days in Clare and repairs are continuing to be carried out.
The company have also announced that it will waive telephone charges for customers affected by the recent floods who’ve had to leave their homes.
Paul Reid is the Director of Operations at Eircom and will visit the Ennis exchange at Drumbiggle this morning as well as viewing the flood damage and meeting local repair crews.
Mr Reid says that they’ve reconnected a number of customers over the last few days.
