Clare’s newly selected Sinn Fein general election candidate says she’ll make the most of the short run to polling day.
Kilrush woman Violet-Anne Wynne – who is a member of the Ennis Cumann – was chosen by Clare members to represent them on February 8th’s election.
She was the only candidate remaining in the race after Noeleen Moran withdrew her name, accusing the party of leaving the selection process until too late.

Wynne has just three weeks now to set out her stall for election – however, she says the fault lies with the Taoiseach.
