Crunch talks on a possible rescue plan for Element Six workers continue in London today.
Management at the Shannon Industrial Diamond Manufacturer flew to the UK yesterday to meet with senior officials from the parent group in an effort to save a substantial number of the 370 jobs on the line.
Speaking last week General Manager Ken Sullivan expressed optimism that they could develop a sustainable operation in Shannon.

The talks in London are expected to conclude this evening and it’s likely that management will then brief workers at the former De Beers plant tomorrow.
