Emergency measures are under consideration to freeze bin charges before a new pricing system comes into force.
New pay by weight charges are due to kick in on Friday the 1st of July.

However in advance of this – bin companies have notified customers of an increase in their fees down to the change.
It's being described as an unforeseen consequence by Government backbenchers.
