Met Éireann has upgraded its wind warning for Clare tomorrow to a mid-level Status Orange Alert.
Forecasters predict winds of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour, and gusts of up to 120 kilometers per hour, and a risk of coastal flooding, between 10:00 tomorrow morning and 10:00 tomorrow night.
For today and tonight, low-level Status Yellow alerts are in place for wind and rain, as Storm Dennis bears down on Ireland.
The OPW is also warning of a very high storm surge up to and including Monday morning, a further increasing the risk of coastal flooding.
