An Award-winning actress from Ennis will be the leading lady in an upcoming BBC TV series.
Denise Gough, who recently picked up a prestigious Olivier Award, is to star in "Paula", a revenge thriller from Dublin playwright Conor McPherson.

Filming for the three-part series is due to get underway in Belfast next month, following which, it will air on BBC 2.
Denise will star alongside fellow Irish Actor Owen McDonnell and "Victoria" star Tom Hughes.
