Gardai have confirmed that the body of a man discovered in an apartment in Ennis last evening is that of Frankie Hassett.
A post mortem on his remains has been conmpleted, but gardai say the further tests to ascertain the exact cause of death are required.
The 25 year old from the Drumbiggle Road in Ennis, was last seen in the town on June 14th

Mr Hassett’s body was discovered in an apartment on the Lifford Road last evening – it’s understood the body may have been there for some time and that the apartment was occupied.
Investigations into Mr Hassett’s death are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Ennis Gardai on 065 6848100
The late Frankie Hassett will be laid to rest in Ennis on Wednesday.
