Ennis is set for a mini economic boost this weekend as 3000 literary enthusiasts descend on the town.
The 5th Annual Ennis Book Club Festival opens today with a mass of figures from the world of culture and arts set to participate.

Among the contributors are Booker Prize Winner Anne Enright, author of Skippy Dies- Paul Murray, Playwright and film and theatre director Peter Sheridan, Journalist Eamon Sweeney while former Mountjoy Prison Governor John Lonergan will be taking part in the Sunday Symposium.
