Thousands of book worms have furrowing their way to Clare’s County Town this weekend as the Ennis Book Club festival gets into full swing.
Interest in the three day event this year has soar with ticket sales up considerably and several readings sold out a number of weeks ago.
One of the highlights of the weekend will be Sunday Symposium during which the theme of Reading History will be explored by Tim Pat Coogan, Diarmuid Ferriter and Senator Eoghan Harris.

Given the economic down Mary Kenneally of the festival organising committee says the event is real shot in the arm for local businesses
