Calls have been made for parking charges in Ennis to be reduced, in light of the eonomic circumstances and in order to make the town more attractive for shoppers.
Officials have been urged to implement incentive schemes, such as free parking on Saturdays, and also park and ride opportunities to bring more people into the town.
Ennis Town Council say they will look at all suggestions to stumulate parking activity, but have warned that services may be curtailed if their income from charges falls.
