An Ennis councillor is calling for a ban on posters in the Local Elections next year.
Johnny Flynn wants to see postering in some designated areas to raise awareness about the election itself, especially for new candidates.
But, he feels there should be bye-laws or a voluntary code to prevent candidates for putting up posters right across their local area.
