An Ennis Councillor is doubtful that she'll receive the Taoiseach's nomination for a seat in the Seanad.
Mary Howard was last night eliminated in the the 11th count for the Cultural and Educational Panel with a vote multiple of 28,000.
Counting is continuing today for the Agricultural panel, with Maghera Councillor Pat Hayes now eliminated, though he had previously said that he was not campaigning.
While later in the week, outgoing Fine Gael Senators Tony Mulcahy and Martin Conway, their party colleague Councillor John Crowe and President of Ógra Fianna Fáil, Ennisman Eoin Neylon will learn their fate.
There's a chance that Councillor Mary could receive a Taoiseach's nomination but she admits that she hasn't even thought about that possibility.
