Ennis Councillors are seeking a meeting with the HSE to discuss the Executive’s role in the leasing of houses in the town.
It follows a number of complaints from residents in some areas regarding anti-social behaviour, which a number of local representatives have largely blamed on tenants leasing private accommodation while receiving rent subsidy from the HSE.

Ennis Town Council’s Estate Management Unit has released a report for 2012 showing a fall in the number of complaints about public authority tenants.
