A new development plan for Ennis is being unveiled.
The document lays out proposals for increased housing, a motorway service station on the M18, increased housing and a new pedestrian bridge between Francis Street and New Road amongst others.

The strategy also covers Clarecastle, and lays out a series of planned works, including moves to zone more land for housing in a bid to bring the population of Ennis up to 32,000 by 2021.
The document will now be opened for public consultation until March 6th.
