Ennis has slipped in the rankings of the latest litter league survey.
IBAL’s end of year results out today show Clare’s County Town as been branded as moderately littered, down from its previous standing as Clean to European Norms.
However new entrant Shannon has attained the accolade of Clean to European Norms

Elsewhere Limerick City and Wicklow town have been ranked the most littered spots in the country while Ballinasloe is among the areas described as seriously littered.
The IBAL league ranks the performance of every local authority in the country when it comes to cleaning the streets and has described Ennis’s performance as disappointing.
