Gardai are appealing for the public’s help as they investigate a suspicious fire at an Ennis school.
Substantial damage was caused to a prefab at Ennis Community College during a fire which Gardai believe was deliberately started on Halloween night.

Three units of the fire service from Ennis were called to the scene, but the fire personnel were unable to prevent significant damage being caused – thousands of euro of computer equipment was destroyed.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Joe Downey is appealing to anyone who witnessed something suspicious in the Harmony Row area on Thursday night last to contact them.
