The manager of Ennis General Hospital says he is pleased with the response to the newly-imposed smoking ban on it’s grounds.
Frank Keane’s comments come after a permanent ban on smoking in or around the hospital including its grounds, car park and former smoking areas came into effect yesterday.

It’s part of a nationwide scheme which the HSE says will see smoking banned at all hospitals by 2015, but it has been met with a mixed response from locals.
