An Ennis insurer is expressing confidence that 2020 will see a reduction in the amount being paid out for drivers’ premiums.
The New Year sees the Consumer Insurance Contracts Bill written into law, which has been described as the most radical shake-up of consumer legislation in centuries in this country.
Meanwhile, a Central Bank report published this month (DECEMBER) found that the average cost paid out for a motor insurance policy rose by 42% in a ten-year period, to a current average of €706.
