The Mayor of Ennis has urged anti headshop campaigners to keep their protests legal.
Councillor Frankie Neylon has joined other Ennis Councillors in condemning two break ins at the Laughing Buddha and Harmonisation Head shops at the weekend as local Gardaí continue to investigate the theft of goods from both premises.
Councillor Neylon has been to the fore of the anti-headshop campaign, and controversially welcomed the closure of a number of stores selling legal highs in Dublin after they were targeted in arson attacks.

The Ennis Mayor is still calling for a closure of the local shops but says the campaign must remain within the law.
