It may have all taken place around a snooker table, but two Ennis men are celebrating after they completed a marathon world record.
After 80 hours with only brief breaks, Gordon O'Loughlin and Kieran Ferns completed their world record attempt to play the world's longest game of snooker at Ennis Snooker and Pool club last night.

The guys had struggled with cramp and fatigue, but are now poised to enter the Guinness Book of World Records.
The epic game also raised funds for Sláinte an Chlair.
