Three of Clare's Town Councils have met for the last time.
Councillors in Shannon and Kilkee held their final meetings last night, along with Ennis Town Council which had been in operation for over 400 years.

In an emotional gathering, local representatives spoke of their pride of serving on the council and of the work that has been achieved.
Kilrush Town Council meets for the final time tomorrow night.
