The operator of the Ennis Bazaar has criticised regulations which have forced her to close the facility later this month.
Already, it’s opentimes have been cut back to just Saturdays from this weekend, while Ann Cronin says it will close altogether at the end of August.
The Ennis woman has been told that she needs planning permission to continue to operate the bazaar, which is based on private land on Market Street, and failure to secure this would result in a potential jail term or a potential fine over over 12.5 million euro.
