A deal on the EU-Budget has been agreed upon by EU leaders at a meeting in Brussels this morning.
The new package will see nearly a trillion euro in funding made available to member states to stimulate growth with a particular emphasis on job creation and in particular youth unemployment.

The budget will now be taken to the European Parliament where the President Martin Schulz says he will push strongly for it’s passing.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has welcomed the agreement and said he’s hopeful all EU states will be happy with the deal.
