Social networking giant Facebook has been fined 110 million euro by the European Union.
An EU watchdog says it provided “incorrect or misleading” information regarding its 17 billion euro take over of WhatsApp in 2014.
Facebook is accused of inaccurately claiming it would be unable to combine user data between the two companies’ accounts.
