Events are being held right across the Banner County today to mark International Women’s Day.
The Clare Women’s Network will hold a demonstration on the Bank Place Bridge in Ennis this lunchtime and a panel discussion on diversity at St Caimin’s School in Shannon, among a number of other events.
The Mayor of Ennis is also urging people to wear red shoes or a red tie to work today to mark International Women’s Day.
