Evidence in the trial of former Killaloe doctor Pascal Carmody is expected to be heard before Ennis Circuit Court today.
The 62 year old of Ballycuggeran has pleaded not guilty to NINE charges of obtaining over 15 thousand euro through deception or the false pretence that he could cure two cancer patients at his East Clinic in Killaloe on dates between November 2001 and October 2002

A jury of seven women and five men were sworn yesterday to hear the case which is expected to open later this morning.
