The Newmarket on Fergus woman preparing to compete in the final stages of the Rose of Tralee festival says she’s thrilled with the support she has received from across Clare.
Marie Donnellan will become the first Banner Rose to take part in the televised element of the festival since 2006 when she takes to the stage in the Dome in two weeks time.

However, her Rose of Tralee adventure begins this Sunday when she meets her fellow Roses for the beginning of their tour around Ireland.
She’s told Clare FM that the excitement is building.
