Taoiseach Brian Cowen has expressed an interest in coming to Ennis for the visit of sporting legend Mohammad Ali
The sporting great will be visiting the home of his ancestors on the first of September and already the interest in the event is huge.

Plans for the visit include a motorcade through the town, an open air event in Abbey Street Car park along with the visit of Ali himself to the home of his great grandfather, Abe Grady, in the Turnpike.
