A portion of the M18 motorway has been closed to traffic this morning, as part of a series of works.
The closure, between Crusheen and Gort, began on the southbound carriageway early this morning, and that is due to remain closed until late tomorrow night.

The Northbound carriageway, meanwhile, will close early on Monday morning and then remain closed until late on Friday night and motorists will be diverted via the old R458 road.
Earlier this year, a review of the road was carried out in light of local concerns about the condition of the road during a spate of wintry showers, and now road resurfacing works are to be carried out.
