An elderly man has been killed a road crash in Tipperary.
The driver- who was in his early 80’s died when his car collided with a truck on the M 8 near Cahir at around 2 am this morning.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
The stretch of road is closed this morning and Gardaí at Cahir are appealing for witnesses.
